Manufacturing Software Solutions
Planning
The Aptean Intuitive ERP system is a comprehensive solution suitable for discrete manufacturers of standard and one-off custom products in assembly and fabrication industries. It provides improved business visibility using very quick and effective Dynamic MRP and CTP (Capable To Promise) planning functions. The shop floor functions SFM (Shop Floor Manager) and SFDC (Shop Floor Data Collection) provide improved control of manufacturing work flows and costs.
Advanced Scheduling
The Siemens Opcenter APS system is a rules-based finite capacity scheduling tool that assesses resource availability and considers multiple constraints to produce an optimised schedule. It improves visibility and control to enable an increase in resource utilisation and on-time delivery, while reducing inventory levels and waste. It allows the manufacturer to react quickly and effectively to unexpected changes, while still being able to respond to shorter lead times and satisfy customer demand.
Quality Management
The uniPoint quality management system provides non-conformance (NC) and corrective preventative action (CPA) details for the tracking, analysis and control of quality issues. It allows the capture of in-process quality check results and provides “certificate of conformance” documents to accompany shipping documents for customer deliveries. It provides the Customer Service module for the tracking and analysis of customer quality issues and complaints. It provides company health quality metrics in user-definable Key Indicators dashboards with an automatic refresh cycle and drill-down capability to more detailed supporting information.
Product Configurator
The Aptean product configurator uses pre-determined rules-based logic to automatically guide the user through the product option selection process, to generate highly accurate order-specific documentation such as bills of material, manufacturing process routings, drawings and sales documents. It uses “bottoms up” logic to include specific information and provide rules through all levels of the product selection process. It uses “infusion” logic to derive information from other sources without direct user input, saving time and possible confusion.
